Jetragon

Complete guide to finding and capturing Jetragon in Palworld 1.0. Location, stats, drops, and strategy.

Location & Spawn

Jetragon spawns in the Sunreach area as a Level 70 Alpha Pal. The exact coordinates are -553, -1332.

This is a late-game area, so don’t go looking for Jetragon with low-level gear. You’ll need to be prepared for a fight.

How to Catch

Jetragon is a powerful Legendary Pal. Bring a high-level team, preferably with Dragon-resistant Pals or Ice-types to counter it. Stock up on Ultra Spheres or Legendary Spheres—regular ones won’t cut it.

Weaken Jetragon to low HP without killing it. Use status effects like freeze or stun if you can. Then spam spheres from a distance. It has a high catch rate for a Legendary, but you’ll still need multiple attempts.

Stats

  • HP: 110
  • Attack: 140
  • Defense: 110

Jetragon hits hard and can take a beating. Its Attack stat is stand-out, making it a top-tier damage dealer.

Work Suitability

  • Gathering Lv 8 — Excellent for harvesting crops and collecting resources at base.

Jetragon Weakness

Jetragon is a Dragon-type Pal, making it weak to Ice-type attacks. Ice attacks deal 2× damage to Dragon Pals, and Ice Pals naturally resist Dragon attacks — meaning they take only 0.5× damage in return. This double advantage makes Ice-types the safest and fastest way to bring Jetragon down.

Best Counters

PalTypeWhy
FrostallionIceThe best Ice Pal in the game. Legend + Ice Emperor passives stack for a significant combined Ice damage boost (exact 1.0 values unconfirmed). Its high bulk lets it tank Jetragon’s hard-hitting Dragon moves while dealing massive Ice damage back.
ReindrixIcePure Ice-type with solid stats and easy to catch early. Its Ice active skills (Icicle Cutter, Crystal Wing) hit Jetragon for 2× damage, and it resists Dragon attacks at 0.5×.
ChilletIce/DragonA dual Ice-Dragon type that’s accessible even in mid-game. While it takes neutral damage from Dragon moves (since Dragon hits Dragon for 1×), its Ice attacks still deal the full 2× multiplier against Jetragon. Great budget option.

What to Avoid

TypeWhy
DarkDragon resists Dark at 0.5× damage — Dark is the only element Dragon shrugs off. Leave your shadow Pals at home.
Fire / Water / Electric / GrassAll four deal neutral 1× damage to Dragon — not resisted, but not super-effective either. They’ll work in a pinch, but Ice’s 2× is the only real advantage.

Jetragon Drops

  • Soralite — 100% drop rate (10 per kill or capture)
  • Thermal Core — 100% drop rate (1-2 per kill or capture)
  • Diamond — 30% drop rate (1 per kill or capture)
  • Ancient Civilization Parts — 100% from Alpha (7-9 per kill)
  • Precious Dragon Stone — 100% from Alpha (7-9 per kill)
  • Rocket Launcher Schematic 4 — 3% from Alpha

Partner Skill

Jetragon’s Partner Skill is Aerial Missile. While riding Jetragon, you can launch homing missiles at enemies. Makes short work of flying Pals and is one of the best aerial combat skills in the game.

Tips & Strategy

  • Bring a flying mount to reach the spawn point fast. The terrain around Sunreach is rough.
  • Use Ice-type Pals like Frostallion for a type advantage—Dragon is weak to Ice.
  • Save before engaging. If you fail to catch it, reload and try again.
  • Jetragon’s high Attack means you’ll want to dodge its charged moves. Keep moving during the fight.
  • Farm Soralite by defeating Jetragon multiple times after catching one—it respawns at the same spot.

Breeding

  • Breed Power: 90
  • Legendary rule: can ONLY breed with same species. Jetragon + Jetragon = Jetragon. No other combination works.
  • Exclusive passives: Legend, Divine Dragon
  • Average breeding time: ~2 hours per egg (Huge Dragon Egg)

Jetragon sits at the top of the breeding chain. You can’t crossbreed it with anything else. Drop two Jetragons in the ranch and wait. The egg takes about 2 hours to hatch on normal settings. Worth it if you want to roll for better IVs or pass down combat passives.

Passive Skills

  • Legend — Attack +20% (per wiki.gg; the 1.0 changelog confirms Legend was enhanced but doesn’t publish exact new values), Defense +20%, Movement Speed +15%. Every legendary Pal gets this. It’s the best all-around combat passive in the game.
  • Divine Dragon — Dragon damage +20% (per wiki.gg; 1.0 notes confirm Emperor passives were increased but exact values unlisted). Stacks with Legend for a significant combined boost — exact 1.0 total unconfirmed. Exclusive to Jetragon.

Both passives come guaranteed on every wild-caught Jetragon. You can breed to replace them with other passives like Ferocious or Musclehead, but you’d lose the unique Dragon damage bonus.
