Frostallion
Complete guide to finding and capturing Frostallion in Palworld 1.0. Location, stats, drops, and strategy.
Location & Spawn
Frostallion is a Level 60 Alpha Pal found in the wild at a single, fixed location. Head to the absolute top of the map, northeast of the Land of Absolute Zero. You’ll find it roaming around the massive frozen lake area at coordinates -165, 580. This is a 1.0 spawn point, not a dungeon or tower fight.
It only spawns as an Alpha Pal. There are no wild non-Alpha Frostallions running around. The Alpha respawns after a few in-game days if you kill or capture it.
How to Catch
You’re going to need serious firepower. Frostallion hits hard with Ice attacks and moves fast. Bring a team of high-level Fire Pals (like Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut, or Suzaku) to exploit its Ice weakness. Heat-resistant armor is a must — the cold in this zone is brutal even without the fight.
Use Legendary Spheres or better. Ultra Spheres work but expect a low catch rate. Get its health into the red, then hit it with a Freeze or Stun status effect before throwing spheres. This is a tough fight solo, so bring backup Pals and plenty of ammo.
Stats
- HP: 140
- Attack: 140
- Defense: 120
These are base stats for the wild Alpha. Frostallion’s Attack and HP are both high, making it a glass cannon with decent bulk. Defense is a bit lower, so Fire Pals can chew through it fast.
Drops
Frostallion drops 10 Ice Organs every time you catch or kill it. That’s a guaranteed drop, no RNG. Ice Organs are used for crafting Ice-type gear and ammo, so stock up.
Partner Skill
Frostallion’s Partner Skill is Ice Wing. While mounted, your attacks deal Ice damage and you can double-jump in the air. This makes it one of the best flying mounts for combat — you can strafe enemies and rain down Ice attacks from above. The double jump helps with dodging ground attacks and navigating cliffs.
Tips & Strategy
- Bring a Fire Pal with high Attack and tanky HP. Jormuntide Ignis is ideal because it resists Ice and hits back hard.
- Use a shield. Frostallion’s charge attack can one-shot you if you’re not wearing good gear. A Legendary Shield or at least a Hyper Shield will save your life.
- The double jump from its Partner Skill is great for getting out of tight spots. Use it to dodge the ice beam attack.
- If you’re farming Ice Organs, just kill Frostallion and wait for the respawn. Catching it is harder and not worth the sphere cost if you only want organs.
- This Pal is a top-tier mount for late-game exploration. Its speed and double jump make it better than Jetragon in some situations, especially in icy biomes.
